About Us

The Nappy Market was launched in 2022 by me, Kate. I'm at Work at Home Mam, based in Wexford. 

The Nappy Market

I had my first baby, Ava, in April 2022 and thats when I started our cloth nappy journey and where the idea for the Nappy Market began. 

Cloth Nappies are a reusable product with significant appeal - they are an economical choice for families and a greener choice for the environment. I couldn't understand why they weren't more widely available.  

In summer 2022 I decided to set up an online store dedicated to selling and buying reusable nappy products and to providing the information needed to help people choose reusable. A market where parents could buy new and preloved items together in one place so their money goes further. 

I hope my store will make it easier to buy and understand reusable nappies, and encourage the next generation of parents to start their babies' journey with a more economical, environmentally friendly approach. 

Kate's Background

For me setting up this business and building this website allowed me to rediscover my creative entrepreneurial flare. I needed something to challenge my brain again post baby. I did a lot of this from my phone while breast feeding! 

I run the market part time in-between being a full time mammy to Ava and Billie and also running our online fitness business. You can follow me over on IG @livingwiththedoyles

Please note I operate this as a family business on a small margin.  

While I try my best to give accurate pictures and descriptions of preloved items,  please feel free to ask for more information on any product. I have a very limited amount of stock and lots of one - off items in the preloved section.  I will do my best to ensure the online store is correct but I reserve the right to provide a full refund if an item purchased is out of stock. 

Delivery & Packaging

I use recycled cardboard packaging boxes provided by several local businesses for all deliveries. All domestic deliveries tracked and sent using An Post, international deliveries are sent using An Post or UPS depending on the country.
