Have you noticed that your cloth nappy inserts, especially hemp inserts, will air dry hard and misshapen? This can make it more challenging to stuff them into pocket cloth nappies.
Try this cloth nappy tip to keep them lovely and soft
As soon as your cloth nappy wash has finished, take out all the inserts and pop them straight into the tumble dryer when they are still wet for 3-5 mins on a low heat.
You can also include fitted nappies, bamboo inserts and AIO nappies. There is no need to add microfibre inserts as they dry very quickly and stay soft and pliable.
Be sure to set a timer for 5 mins so your cloth nappies don't spend any longer in there, especially if you are including AIO nappies with outer PUL material. Then hang them to air dry outdoors or on a clothes horse and they will stay lovely and soft when they dry.
An alternative option to the dryer is to rub the inserts together, or against the leg of your jeans or the carpet to soften them up.
